Shopping List for How to Install Vinyl Flooring:
– vinyl sheet flooring
– vinyl flooring adhesive
– felt paper, used to make a template of room’s floor
– masking tape
– 1/4-inch plywood underlayment
– vinyl cove molding, for creating baseboard around the room
– metal transition molding, installed at threshold between new floor and floor of adjacent room
– 1 1/4-inch-long ring-shank nails, for fastening plywood underlayment
– underlayment filler, used to fill voids in existing floor

Tools for How to Install Vinyl Flooring:
– measuring tape
– hammer
– utility knife with straight and hook blades, used to cut template and flooring
– framing square
– 3/16-inch V-notch trowel, for applying vinyl flooring adhesive
– 6-inch putty knife, used to spread underlayment filler
– circular saw
